Molded Fiber Glass Companies is a pioneer and leader in reinforced plastics and composites manufacturing, serving diverse markets with a variety of material systems and processes. MFG produced the first fiberglass Corvette body in 1953 and the first fiberglass boat in 1948. In 1997 MFG Texas opened as a wind turbine manufacturing facility. Today the Gainesville plant specializes in low-pressure molding technologies for low and medium volume manufacturing.
